Ilja Karsikas

Ilja (b. 1978) is a Helsinki-based illustrator and graphic designer. He graduated with a degree in graphic design from the Lahti Institute of Design in 2003. Strong colours, an abundance of details and an imaginative atmosphere define Ilja’s illustrations. His techniques vary from ink drawing to digital collage and gouache painting. Along with illustrating, Ilja designs e.g. record covers and books.
