Jussi Kaakinen (b. 1978) is a Helsinki-based illustrator and graphic designer. He graduated from the University of Art and Design Helsinki in 2006.

Jussi’s style of illustration is witty and clear. It often shows a brush stroke or the line of a marker. Besides illustrating for magazines, Jussi designs covers and illustrations for different books for both children and grown-ups. If he only had more time, he would like to draw more comics, too.

Jussi's works have been awarded at the annual Finnish graphic design competition Vuoden Huiput in 2006 and the Comics Finlandia competition in 2009.
