Kasper Strömman

Kasper (b. 1974) graduated with a degree in graphic design from the Camberwell College of Arts, London in 2001. He has since worked at the Helsinki-based Super8 studio.

In addition to his career as an illustrator, Kasper is a comic artist. His works have been displayed in exhibitions as far as Lisbon, Milan and Kyoto.

Kasper was awarded at the annual Finnish graphic design competition Vuoden Huiput in 2005 and at the Mikkeli Illustration Triennale in 2008.

His style is very clear and strong, and the drawing instrument of choice is a classic black marker. When he’s not drawing, Kasper takes an active interest in music via his own music project King Nosmo as well as playing records from time to time.
