KOZUE HIMI

Kozue (b. 1976) works as a versatile freelance illustrator in Tokyo. Her illustrations include book covers for foreign novels translated into Japanese such as Mil Millington’s ’Things My Girlfriend and I Have Argued About’ or Douglas Adams’ ’The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy’.

Kozue always draws her detailed illustrations by hand, using acrylics, watercolours, charcoal, pastel and pencil as her tools.

She has won various awards during her career, including the Choice Awards of Illustration in 2008.
