JAAKKO PALLASVUO

Jaakko illustrates, draws comics from time to time and studies fine art. Besides Finnish magazines, Jaakko's work has been seen in anthologies and zines in Great Britain, Belgium and France. Jaakko held his first show in the Napa Gallery in March 2008. In addition to meticulous drawing Jaakko likes to work with watercolours, ink and collage. Jaakko's interest in punk, contemporary art and certain movies inspire his illustrations. Jaakko's work has been seen in: Kulttuurivihkot, Ylioppilaslehti, Tiny Showcase, Cafe Royal, Kaugummi Magazine, Sloow Books, 800zine, Humus, Manifest07, BATTERIEnext, Pocket Sized and Kuti.
