JUSSI KARJALAINEN

Jussi was born in Kajaani, Finland in 1975. He studied graphic design and illustration at the Lahti Institute of Design and is a founding member of Napa Books. Jussi has had illustrations and comics published in several magazines and numerous books. He used to work for the publishing house WSOY from 2000 to 2005 when he realized it was time to move on. After spending a year in Berlin he is now a Helsinki-based freelancer, working at the Super8 studio. Jussi's designs and illustrations range from books and record covers to posters. To kick back he plays percussion in the bands Selfish Shellfish and Vectors. Jussi has worked for clients including: WSOY, Helsingin Sanomat, Tammi, Nemo-kustannus, Like, Johnny Kniga, EMI, Bone Voyage Recordings.
